What’s new?
The Sims Freeplay Update 103 has arrived, marking the beginning of the festive season. This update coincides with the game’s 13th Birthday, Simsmas, the new year, and more, providing much to anticipate.
A key feature of this release is the reimagined Simsmas quest ‘A Claus for Reunion’. In this event, your Sim will have the opportunity to reconcile Santa and Santa Sr., with assistance from Mrs. Claus and Cirrus the meteorologist.
Additionally, the theme of this update centers around the concept of returning home, inspired by films such as ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ and ‘The Holiday’. Your Sim can explore their past, experiencing what it feels like returning home. From renovating their childhood residence into a British Tudor mansion to competing in the SimTown Bake Off, where they will aim to impress both the judges and their rival, renowned TV Chef Amy Joliver. Watch as your Sim transitions from an unknown visitor to a celebrated figure in SimTown.
- The developers are trying something new with Influence Island events ‘Make the Yuletide Glam’ and ‘Lullaby Loft’. They know you have a lot to do during the holidays, so they are shortening these from 10 to 5 days, inducing a range of prizes, and balancing changes.
